sRide at Coforge Hyderabad — Carpooling Meets a LEED Gold, Net-Zero Campus
On 11th August 2026, sRide visited the Coforge Hyderabad campus — day two of our four-company sustainability tour across Hyderabad. And what better place to talk about sustainable commuting than a campus that already walks the talk.
Coforge’s Hyderabad office holds a LEED ID+C Gold certification — a globally recognized benchmark for green, sustainable buildings. With SBTi-validated net-zero targets, an impressive 83% reduction in Scope 2 emissions in FY26, and a commitment to being carbon neutral, water positive, and zero waste by 2040, Coforge is one of India’s most sustainability-forward IT companies. For their 28,000+ strong global workforce, that commitment extends beyond the building — right to how employees get there.
The Event
The sRide team engaged with Coforge employees across the campus, introducing them to colleague-to-colleague carpooling — a practical, zero-infrastructure way to reduce their daily commute footprint without changing where they live or how they work.
Given Coforge’s deep commitment to sustainability reporting and metrics, the conversation resonated strongly. Employees were particularly interested in how carpooling data can feed into their organization’s Scope 3 emissions tracking — making every shared ride not just a personal saving but a reportable ESG win.
